I also got to listen in on a big football discussion, which I found interesting, but also funny at the same time, because (to me) it was comical to see how much the guys remembered about all the football players, the stats, what happened throughout the years to the teams/players/coaches/etc.
We're trying to visit 30 different restaurants in the next year - we did the 30 restaurants, and we're going to be continuing!

Restaurant #35 - Maverick's - March 9th 2012
We went to Maverick's. There was Pierre, Stephane, Stephan, Darren and me. They had all you can eat ribs for 19.99$. We all took the ribs except for Pierre (Filet Mignon). The plates of ribs that the waiter brought out were enormous! You definitely get your money's worth.. or maybe the restaurant does, because none of us ordered a second plate, which makes me wonder if most people do. I definitely recommend the ribs for someone that is looking for a lot of food for a reasonable price (especially when comparing the price to all the other items on the menu).

Amy, you forgot to mention that Stéphan is the only person we know who uses his fork to eat ribs. And not just for a second, but for the whole rack.
ReplyDeleteI also know for a fact that he eats fried chicken with a knife and fork.
